What you can expect on your first cleaning is a deep clean.
We want to get your home, up to the highest standards, whether that’s our standards or yours, which is typically our standards we have pretty high standards. And what you can expect is two crew members will arrive depending on the size of the project.
We are fully self contained we bring all the supplies, tools and equipment that we need, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
One of the first areas where they will start, if you like, is they will strip the linens on the bed. Put those linens in the wash and then while they’re there, they will put the linens in the dryer so you have clean laundry, when they’re done. If you have a second set of linens they’ll make the bed “hotel style” which is really nice to come home to.
In the bathrooms, they will disinfect and wash, literally wash the bathrooms, the surfaces, the countertops, the sink, the fixtures, we’ll dust the light fixtures, we’ll clean on top of the medicine cabinet where that dust collects, wipe down all the cabinets on the outside, the door, the cabinet handles, the light switches, the doorknobs. They’ll literally wash the toilet 360, so it sparkles. We’ll clean the inside of the tub, the shower, the shower walls, behind the door where dust collects. We’ll dust the baseboards, and of course we’ll mop the bathroom floor, the hard floor.
We will dust the baseboards around the rest of the house, we clean the inside of the windows, and we’ll clean the window tracks as best we can. Through the rest of the house of course, dusting the baseboards and light fixtures. And if you have a vaulted ceiling, our insurance likes to keep our crew members’ feet on the floor. So, we may or may not be able to get to high up ceiling fans, that kind of thing, high up glass windows, that type of thing, but we will do as best job as we can with the tools and equipment that we have.
In the kitchen, we’ll also disinfect all of the surfaces, the countertops, and of course the cabinets, the cabinetry handles. We will clean the inside of the microwave. Actually wash the inside of the microwave. We’ll take that little tray out and clean that up real good, make it look as good as new as possible. Same thing with the stovetop we don’t just wipe it off. We’ll actually wash the top of the stove as best we can, including the metal grates if you have a gas top stove. If the inside of the oven needs cleaned, we can take care of that making it look as good as new as possible. If there are not many items in the refrigerator and you need the refrigerator cleaned on the inside, we can take care of that as well. Of course we wipe down the outside of all the appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and microwave, we’ll disinfect the countertops, and the sink, as well as the fixtures.
A couple things that we don’t do that I just want to set the expectation, is that we’re unable to move the appliances. So if you do need cleaning behind the refrigerator for example, we’ll do as good a job as we can, but our cleaners are cleaners not movers. So, we’ll be unable to move the appliances. Same thing with the washer/dryer, we’ll clean that up as best we can, wiping it down. But we won’t be able to move those appliances. So if you do need cleaned behind there, you’ll need to arrange to have those appliances moved accordingly so that we can access those spaces to clean.
If there are also a few dishes in the dishwasher we typically don’t do dishes, but we can throw the dishes in the dishwasher and start it if you like.
And of course we will vacuum and mop on the way out. And you will receive a follow up call from me to make sure everything is okay at the end and then we can close out the balance at that time, and schedule any recurring cleanings that you would like to get on the schedule.
